At Hounds&Home, I am committed to providing top-notch boarding and sitting services for your beloved dogs in Barnsley and surrounding areas. I offer a welcoming and safe environment, equipped with a secure large garden with collection and return transport for a small fee if required. I cater specifically to large and extra-large breeds and offer tailored diets and daily walks to ensure your dog is happy and healthy.

I am fully 4* licenced, insured and certified in canine first aid.

Dog Boarding

My licenced boarding services provide your dog with a warm, comfortable environment with a large, secure garden, to ensure your dog feels right at home.

All diets are catered for and regular exercise with daily walks.

All dogs are taken on a 1-1 basis, unless they are from the same household.

Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priorities.

Including heated beds in colder weather and cooling mats in warmer weather.

Large Breeds Welcome

I specialise in accommodating large and extra-large dog breeds. I provide secure surroundings to ensure that larger dogs have plenty of room to move and play.

I understand the unique needs of larger breeds and i am equipped to provide the best care possible.

Pampered Pooch

 

I offer pamper days where your dog can have a posh wash and blow dry which includes a facial, ear clean and nail clip with Zoe, who is a fully qualified dog groomer at Z-Paws Dog Grooming.

With prices starting at just 30 pounds including transport* your dog will be relaxed, refreshed and smelling gorgeous.

What are your working hours?

My telephone contact for enquiries is open 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week.

Do you offer pick-up and drop-off services?

Yes, in some circumstances i can offer collection and return transport for dogs if required.

I've just collected my two dogs after a two week stay and all i can say is.....fantastic! I'm sure they didn't want to come home and i don't blame them. I think they actually had a better holiday than me. If you worry about leaving your dog then leave them with H&H and all your worries will disappear. Top notch is exactly what it is. I wish the owner took human boarders, i'd definitely book myself in for a week.

Third time now that i've left my dog with hounds and home, i wouldn't leave them anywhere else. As soon as we pull up outside, my dog goes into a frenzy of excitement to get inside to the owner for cuddles and of course, treats. Thank you again.

Iv'e left my two boys several times and they've been spoilt with cuddles and love. This time they were booked in over christmas and what a fantastic christmas they had with presents, christmas dinner and of course, cuddles and treats. I haven't left my dog with a boarder before so i wasn't sure what to expect. I went with my dog for a meet and greet with the owner who is lovely,  answered all my questions and was very reassuring, even when my dog had an 'accident' on the floor. I then booked in for a trial night and collected a very content dog. Happy to say that i then booked my dog in for a week. The owner sent a daily update and photo's which was lovely as i could see that my dog was happy. I returned to collect him and the owner gave me his belongings back, but had also slipped a few treats and a toy into the bag. What more could a dog want? No wonder customers keep returning.  I'll definitely be booking again.

A big thank you to Hounds and Home. I left my 8 month old completely crazy cocker for a week and collected a half crazy cocker. I swear the owner is a reincarnation of Barbara  ( waaalkies ) Woodhouse, for those old enough to remember her. Ive booked for a fortnight later in the year as i'm so pleased with the care my dog was given.
